BC Dairy Farmer
Like most farmers, it’s a long, hard day of work for Tom Hoogendoorn but his love of his dairy cattle and passion for farming makes it all worthwhile. Tom has spent his entire life at Valedoorn Farms, and together with his brother eventually bought the farm from his parents. All that hard work has paid off as they’ve grown it from its humble beginnings into the successful farm that it is today.
Together with his wife, they’ve raised their children on the farm and provided jobs for friends and family, making a positive impact on, and contributing to, their vibrant local community. The Hoogendoorns are firm believers in the benefits of buying locally and source as many products and services as they can from Agassiz and Chilliwack and hope that others will follow their lead.
