Alf Krause began selling berries from the back of an old Volkswagon van in 1965 and now farms over 200 acres providing the community with the very best strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries – along with fresh picked corn, beans and fall vegetables.
Alf and his wife Sandee love what they do and do what they love… farming to provide their community with the best the Fraser Valley has to offer and doing it with a whole farming approach – including rotating crops, integrated pest management, and paying special attention to the details. They work hard to provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for families to come and enjoy the U-Pick farm experience as they learn the real meaning of farm fresh and how important it is to know your farmer and know your food.
Alf and Sandee not only provide some of the best berries in the Valley but also over 100 quality products that are fresh from the field to the Harvest Kitchen at Krause Berry Farms…such as berry wines, berry jams, berry jellies, berry syrups, berry vinegars, fruit pies, berry ice cream, berry donuts, kettle corn, roasted corn pizza, farm fresh soups, creamy fudge, fresh breads & buns, berry cookies, berry perogies and more!
