Creamed Spinach

Ingredients

  • 250 mL (1 cup) heated, 18% or 33% Cream
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) Butter
  • 1 finely chopped Spinach
  • 1 L (4 cups) coarsely chopped fresh Canadian Parmesan
  • 30 mL (2 tbsp) grated fresh Salt
  • To taste Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan, melt butter and cook onion without browning.
  2. Add hot cream and spinach. Cook until desired consistency.
  3. Add Canadian parmesan.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Serve as a side dish or a dip.
